But seriously, your skin is your biggest organ. Take good care of it! You already know that you start losing collagen and elasticity when you turn 25. So we should be doing everything we can to put our best skin forward.

Step 1: Exfoliate

Just like we are shedding our winter coats, we need to exfoliate to shed our dead skin cells. This will help us expose the sexy skin we want to show off. Exfoliation can help increase blood circulation as well.

You should exfoliate a couple of times of week – your face and your body. You don’t want to exfoliate too often as it may strip away some of your natural oils.

Here are some great benefits of exfoliating:

  • Reduce dark spots
  • Remove ingrown hairs

Exfoliate before you shave: By exfoliating before you shave, you remove the dead skin cells that could clog your razor, which allows you to have a closer shave.

Exfoliate before you tan: To get the best tan – fake or real – spend a few minutes prepping so your skin is ready. First of all, let your skin soak in a warm bath for 20 minutes. Next, exfoliate and then shave with a multi-blade razor. Your skin will be prepped and ready to apply a premium self-tanner.

Step 2: Use Razor with Several Blades

When you shave without exfoliating, you are potentially clogging your razor with dead skin cells. So, be sure to exfoliate first.

Step 3: Moisturize

Help keep your skin young by moisturizing daily! I had a realization recently when my store bought lotions were causing my skin more harm than good. I was breaking out in weird spots. I had to replace every product I was using to figure out why I was having such strange breakouts.
