Insider’s Guide to Sexy Skin

Hey! Your epidermis is showing.

But seriously, your skin is your biggest organ. Take good care of it! You already know that you start losing collagen and elasticity when you turn 25. So we should be doing everything we can to put our best skin forward.

Here are some tips and product recommendations for smooth and sexy skin. I would love to know if you have any additional tips, please comment below if you do.

Step 1: Exfoliate

Just like we are shedding our winter coats, we need to exfoliate to shed our dead skin cells. This will help us expose the sexy skin we want to show off. Exfoliation can help increase blood circulation as well.

You should exfoliate a couple of times of week – your face and your body. You don’t want to exfoliate too often as it may strip away some of your natural oils.

Here are some great benefits of exfoliating:

  • Reduce blemishes on your skin
  • Encourages healthy skin tissues to shine through
  • Unclog pores
  • Reduce dark spots
  • Remove ingrown hairs

Exfoliate before you shave: By exfoliating before you shave, you remove the dead skin cells that could clog your razor, which allows you to have a closer shave.

Exfoliate before you tan: To get the best tan – fake or real – spend a few minutes prepping so your skin is ready. First of all, let your skin soak in a warm bath for 20 minutes. Next, exfoliate and then shave with a multi-blade razor. Your skin will be prepped and ready to apply a premium self-tanner.

Step 2: Use Razor with Several Blades

When you shave without exfoliating, you are potentially clogging your razor with dead skin cells. So, be sure to exfoliate first.

Here’s why you should use a razor with at least 3 blades:

With a 3-blade razor, each blade was intended to serve a purpose:

First blade: hooks the hair follicle, pulling it up

Second blade: cuts the more exposed hair

Third blade: backup, ensuring nothing is missed.

I have been using the Dollar Shave Club for several years now. It’s so easy, the razors come in the mail. There are several similar companies like Dollar Shave Club, and all are good!

Here’s another option that I want to try! It’s called Flawless Legs, and it fits in the palm of your hand for an easy shave. Check it out on Amazon here.

Step 3: Moisturize

Help keep your skin young by moisturizing daily! I had a realization recently when my store bought lotions were causing my skin more harm than good. I was breaking out in weird spots. I had to replace every product I was using to figure out why I was having such strange breakouts.

Turns out it was the lotion I was using. Who knows if it was the alcohol or toxins in it, but when I switched to a non-toxic lotion, I started to love my skin a little bit more every day.

The lotion I use smells amazing and makes my skin so soft. This is the lotion you want for sexy skin! Check it out here:

Step 4: Oil

Now, seal the moisture in with body oil!

The oil that I love uses grapeseed oil to support collagen and skin firmness, plus sesame seed oil that moisturizes to help dimpled skin appear smooth.

This will take sexy skin to the next level by locking in moisture and improve the appearance of dull, lackluster skin to make skin look smooth and sexy.

Not only will have sexy skin, but you will also feel amazingly sexy by using this oil! Check it out here:

Step 5: Eat Right, Exercise, and Drink Lots of Water

This is one of the biggest tips for healthy, sexy skin. If you have a lot of issues with wrinkles, dry skin patches and more, take a look at the foods you are eating.

I recently took the 30-day healthy living jumpstart and learned that dairy and gluten were wreaking havoc on my digestive system. When I removed a lot of the common allergens that hurt our digestive systems, a weird thing happened.

My skin cleared up! I was noticing so many new wrinkles under my eyes that I just couldn’t take it. I wasn’t sure what to do. After the 30-day healthy living challenge, not only was my skin clearer, my digestion was improved as well. Plus, I lost 8 pounds!

Drink more water. Ok, do you know how much water you should be drinking daily? Take your body weight, divide in half, and then divide by 8 – that’s the number of cups of water you should drink daily.

sexy skinThat is so much water. But, once you focus on drinking more water, you’ll start realizing the benefits of drinking water. You are supporting your healthy, sexy skin and your elimination organs.
